The platform feels like a game because it is one. Everything you do earns levels, a single reputation that follows you across every app. Here is exactly how you climb.
Every vote on the toplist gives you +1 level (up to a fair daily cap). Keep a daily voting streak and earn bonus levels on top. Voting also pushes your favourite servers up the ranking.
Post, answer and help. When another member gives your post a level, you earn +1 level. Giving levels to good posts counts too and builds your own rank.
Timed events hand out level prizes to the top places. Enter, place well, and jump ahead on the global ranking with a champion badge.
Your level is also a currency: spend it to boost your server up the toplist or on forum perks. Earn it by playing the community, spend it to stand out. No credit card ever involved.
